Cool fixie

This was a cool fixie IMHO, but then you saw 10 every day and color coordinated components in any colors became boring. Interesting choise of stem and seatpost, typically you do not see quality hardware such as Thomson on a fixie.

Magic Motorcycle Cannondale bike

This is what remains of a once famous bike that was shown at a bicycle show in the early 90'ies (check out picture below). It is just a concept bike for Cannondale which means it is not rideable and the frame is solid billet aluminium. It was sort of a show stopper at the show and stirred up a lot of controversy because it was a revolutionary design, but totally unrideable bike and made by motorcycle guys. Cannondale was very sure the bike would be released in the future, but here I am in 2014 still waiting.

Ibis Bow Ti singlespeed

This is a interesting and unique build on the famous Bow Ti frame by Ibis. Singlespeed, red anodized rear rim, lights, fenders and high rise stem combined with riser bars. Only bar ends are missing!

Manitou FS vintage mountain bike

This is the Manitou FS frameset, it was made by Answer. The early Manitou rigid and FS frames where handmade and very limited edition and had some unique features such as extra wide hub widths. The Answer made version is more standard.

Look 496 frameset

This is an awesome frameset by Look that borrows some features from the vintage Look KG-196 framset featured before on this blog. The 496 is for time trial use though.

155 gram custom XTR rear derailleur

This is a custom dremeled XTR rear deralleur that replacement aluminium bolts and carbon fiber replacement parts. It only weights 155 grams!

Ugly looking Downhill frame

I dont know anything about this frame other than:

1. it is ugly

2. it has Horst links so it must be good

Broken Yeti ARC

This is an old Yeti ARC that has cracked at the seatpost binder bold. This can happen if you overtighten the seatpost bolt. Believe it or not, this is actually possible to repair.

Insane Drillium

Before purple anodization there was a fad called drillium. Drillium is all about drilling holes in your parts making them lighter. This is more modern variant of drillium called dangerous drillium.

Needs more italian colors, why not stripe the handlebar in italian colors?

If they did, they speced a double tripple clamp on it.

Moulton Titanium bicycle

This is a Moulton made in titanium. It was made by One-Off. Only one example exist in the world and it is part of the Embacher collection (of weird bicycles).

Moulton bicycles are small wheeled full suspension bicycles. In 2017 they released the SST model. If you are interested in an SST build blog I suggest you visist the Moulton SST build blog about a guy building up his new Moulton SST bicycle.

Hershey Naked front hub

This is a Hershey Naked front hub in purple. It used a clear tube as the hub shell. I do not think they made a rear version.
